Membuat PPPOE login di windows xp

To configure your DSL/Cable PPPoE connection on Windows XP:

1. Open the Control Panel. Click the Network and Internet Connection option, then choose Network Connections. Note: If the Control Panel is in Classic View, double click the Network Connections icon,

2. Click the File menu and choose New Connection to start the New Connection Wizard. Select Connect to the Internet and click Next.



3. Select Set up my connection manually and click Next.


4. Select Connect using a broadband connection that requires a username and password. Click Next.


5. In the ISP Name field, enter a name for the connection - example : IP Telecom. Click Next.


6. Enter your Username and Password into the appropriate fields. Your username should be in the form of rio@iptelemedia.net Uncheck Turn on the Internet Connection Firewall for this connection. Click Next.


7. If you would like an icon to the IP Telecom connection added to the desktop, select that option. Click Finish to complete the wizard.


To enter DNS numbers:

Open the Control Panel. Click the Network and Internet Connection option, then choose Network Connections. Note: If the Control Panel is in Classic View, double click the Network Connections icon.

8. Under LAN or High-Speed Internet, right click Local Area connection and select Properties.


9. On the General tab, highlight Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click Properties.

10. Select Use the following DNS server addresses. Enter your Expedient DNS servers into the appropriate fields. Click here for the list of Expedient DNS servers.

11. Click OK, then OK again.

Note: The LAN connection in Network Connections should be Enabled.

12. Close the Network Connections screen. You may need to restart your computer for the new connection to become active.
